The Oikos Series
As we emerge from a period of collective isolation during the pandemic and into a climate known by ecologists as the Sixth Mass Extinction Event, the Anthropocene, healing ourselves and our home is at the forefront.
Oikos: Ancient Greek for family // home
Inspired by wishing trees, alters, folklore and sacred rituals, with connotations of the Hagstone being a portal into a more mystical yet earthy realm.
Made with foraged earth pigments and plant dyes, these pieces are of our earthly home, and speak of our connection to it.
